Welcome!
Ranked on Vivino as amongst the top 6% of wines in the entire world and considered as one of the top 9% of wines from Barolo, the Nebbiolo grapes used for this wine come from vineyards located in Barolo villages at 200 - 300 ft. above sea level. The average age of the vines is 50 years and are grown on a southern exposure in calcareous clay soils at a density of about 5,000 plants per hectare. The wine spends 36 months in oak Slavonia casks then six months in bottles before shipping.
James Suckling : "Ripe fruit with smoke and toasted oak, as well as grilled meat and cedar. Medium-bodied with polished, fine tannins and focused, racy fruit at the end. Shows polish and finesse to the structure."
