Welcome!
Robert Parker-Wine Advocate:
With the Castelnuovo dell'Abate subzone mentioned on the front label, the La Colombina 2017 Brunello di Montalcino shows a flavor profile that ties into the added intensity and dark fruit associated with this warmer side of the appellation. The wine shows power and textural richness; however, it never feels too ripe or heavy. Instead, it offers a rather subdued interpretation of the vintage without pushing the boundaries in any particular direction. (Monica Larner)
