Robert Parker-Wine Advocate:
A pure expression of Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2017 Il Tarabuso opens to dark fruit, toasted nut and abundant spice, all mixed with sweet white chocolate. The wine prizes softness and richness, and the mouthfeel is especially focused on those themes. It ages in barrique for 18 months, adding to the wine's intensity and structure. (Monica Larner)

Color: Clear ruby red, very dense. Scent: Intense aromas of red fruit such as black cherry and cherry followed by notes of pepper, a note of hay and hints of candied fruit such as orange. Fine spicy white pepper, balsamic notes of dried bay leaf and juniper. On the finish, it releases all its complexity with notes of cocoa, cinchona and tobacco. Flavour: Wine with a warm entrance, red fruit, soft and velvety tannins, brings an excellent expectation of the wine longevity in the future. |
