La Colombina 

La Colombina is a leading family-owned, artisanal Brunello producer. Anna Maria Caselli launched the wine company in 1997. With a focus on tradition and family, the vineyard brought years of wine making tradition expertise into producing their own Brunello.

 

Their Brunello are produced in limited quantities, with only the best grapes used for their wines. This inter-generation vineyard produces some of the world’s finest Brunello, enjoyed by wine lovers globally.

Their wines have consistently achieved top accolades amongst wine critics including Robert-Parker Wine Advocate, Vinous, Wine Spectator.

La Colombina owns 5 hectares of vineyards vineyards in Castelnuovo dell’Abate. Their vineyards, located in various points around Castelnuovo dell’Abate, give their fruits extremely complex characteristics due to their diversity.

 

The grapes are harvested exclusively by hand, before they spend at least 36-40 months in French and Slovenian oak barrels, with an additional 6-8 months in the bottles before they are released into the market.

 

La Colombina produce a limited quantity of their wines every year, with a focus on producing wines that reflect the terrior of their land. This family-owned vineyard’s commitment to produce the best wines are reflected by their attention to detail as they harness the latest technology in harmony with traditional wine making methods.
