San Rustico is a leading family owned traditional Amarone producer, with a history spanning over 150 years. Their great grandfather Luigi was a well-known wine-maker ambassador in the world and today, the vinyeyard is helmed by brothers Marco and Enrico Campagnola.
Marco and Enrico, respectively oenologist and agronomist, personally follow each stage of production from the vines to the bottles.
Their flagship Gaso Amarone (from their best grapes and vineyards) and their classic Rustico Amarone are well-known for their expressiveness and silky tannins. These Amarones have been popular with the wine lovers globally, and they have consistently achieved top accolades amongst the wine critics including Wine Enthusiast, Wine Advocate, Bibenda.
San Rustico produces approximately 200,000 bottles of wines annually. They constantly innovate with technology, while respecting the family’s tradition and respect for terrior.
They currently own 22 hectares of vineyards, extending between the hills of Valgatara and Marano.
Their prestigious Amarone Gaso” range are selected from the best grapes and vineyards. The soils of Linea Gaso, approximately 400 meters to altitude, are terraced with dry stone walls since 1870, are compact red on basalts and with an excellent solar exposure.
