Wine Advocate:
The 2015 Barbaresco Tre Stelle is a balanced and well-tempered expression of Nebbiolo. This pretty wine opens to bright aromas of blue violets, rose hip and forest berry. The main theme here is finesse, and it is fully explored from start to finish, from nose to palate. This is a lean-bodied wine with silky, long intensity. Drink 2019- 2030
Jancis Robinson:
Maturing mid ruby with bricky rim. Concentrated and quite pure cherry nose. Wonderful chewy tannins framing supple, juicy cherry fruit. Already quite irrestible. Drink from 2018-2028.
Vinous:
Cascina delle Rose's 2015 Barbaresco Tre Stelle is gorgeous, perfumed and beautifully lifted. Crushed flowers, dried cherry, tobacco, sage, leather and menthol are all laced together in a silky, mid-weight Barbaresco that will be hard to resist, even in its youth. The 2015 is not an obvious wine, but rather a Barbaresco that is all about understatement and pure class. Hints of sweet tobacco, menthol, licorice and savory herbs grace the silky finish. Drink from 2020-2035
