Leather, spice and dried tobacco flesh out the finish of this textured and evolved red wine that shows some early signs of aging. Of these three wines by Michele Castellani, this bottle blend of Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and a kiss of Molinara is the darkest and most concentrated. It ages in barrique for 30 months. The 15.5% alcohol is neatly buried within the wine's thick texture.
