Welcome!
Wine Advocate Robert Parker:
The Michele Castellani 2017 Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Colle Cristi shows a darkly saturated color with some crimson highlights and a dark brick red color. You feel the heat and the intensity of this scorching hot and dry vintage (and the wine's 15.5% alcohol content). The bouquet reveals dry fruit, prune and dark fig. There is some sweetness on the close, with a gritty structure and some of the loosely knit texture that comes to an evolved wine from a hot vintage. The blend is 70% Corvina and Corvinone, 25% Rondinella and 5% Molinara.
